Tin Man 17

Each battle will produce two Preliminary winner.

One winner from each of the Preliminary Battles and the redemption winner face each other, to determine the winner of Tin-Man.

Robots must weigh more than 25lbs

Water is allowed

• Anything that sticks outside of the 4’X4’ starting box will need to be removed.

The safety disconnects must be on top of the robot

At all times are any contestants or team members allowed to talk to the judges.
Let us clarify this rule… The judges may initiate conversation, ask questions, and inspect the robots unhindered and you are expected to honestly and accurately answer.

the Robot (Shell/Body/outer covering) can not be made of metal or wood. It must be constructed of PVC, Foam and/or cardboard only.

You may use 3D printed materials

You must have two sides with no weapons on it.

No flamethrowers.

All weapons can be below the 5 inch ground clearance at any time

The robot body must be supported at least 7 inches above the ground with nothing below the bottom of the robot except the Legs, wheels, motors, Roller bearings, casters or skids that support and drive the robot.

Fireworks are allowed

Only two team members can enter the arena and must take all needed equipment in with them. Once they leave they cannot reenter until after the battle is concluded.

Max height is 5’ 12”.

Each battle will last for 7 minutes of total combat time.

• This Intermission will happen 2 minutes into the battle.

Because you may not reenter once you leave you must bring all your tools with you when you enter, so have an emergency robot repair kit to bring with you… Remember… 5 minutes… You’re not going to be able to fix much.

No intentionally toxic chemicals.
